2005 Greek Leadership Retreat
Fraternity & Sorority
Relations, in cooperation with the six established Greek Governing
Councils conducts an annual Fall Quarter kick-off retreat for all fraternity and sorority presidents, governing council officers, and sub-group leaders. The purpose
of the retreat is simple; bring together some of UCLA's greatest
student leaders
to foster community building and teamwork, communication, personal
growth and understanding.
We
are excited to once again offer our kick-off retreat (9 years
running) for our
student leaders and look forward to your organization's participation!
Date
& Time: Friday,
September 23; 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Confirmation: Use
the RSVP form below to confirm your attendance. Please respond
no later than Monday, September 19th.
Location
& Timing: We
will be spending our time at UCLA's Sunset Canyon Recreation Center;
based in the Buenos Aires Room. You will need your
student ID to enter SCRC - and then proceed to our room near the upper pool.
Cost: $15
will be your fee for the retreat and should be paid by your
organization. Cash or checks accepted (make checks payable
to UCLA PRC) on the day of the retreat. Note: If
you have any concerns on the cost to attend, please notify
your FSR Advisor to make arrangements for funding your attendance.
What
to wear & bring:
1) Dress
casually and comfortably and bring your letters
for a group photo. We may have some free time to enjoy the Rec Center - so bring a swimsuit and towel, and/or sports equipment (frisbee, volleyball, football, etc.);
2) A
notebook, pen, and positive attitude!
Attendance: FSR, as your campus sponsor, requires participation from Chapter Presidents, Council Officers and Leaders
to kick-off the year and recognition process with the University. Your
calendar should have been cleared since our retreat dates were
announced in the Spring Quarter.
